At an election rally in Dhaka-17 constituency, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman urged voters to give BNP a chance to build the country by voting for the rice ears.
At a meeting held at Kamal Ataturk Avenue ground in Banani on Monday, he said that BNP is the only political party that has a clear plan and experience for the reconstruction of the country.
In his speech, Tarique Rahman quoted the party’s acting chairperson Khaleda Zia and said, “Bangladesh is the first and last destination for all of us.” He claimed that BNP has always considered the people as the source of political power and has stood by the people even in difficult times.
He further said that every time the people gave responsibility to BNP in the past, the party has tried to build the country. Seeking votes for the paddy sheaf in Dhaka-17 constituency, he urged the leaders, activists and supporters to build public support for the party’s candidates across the country.
