Nepal will not be allowed to go to the same situation as Bangladesh, said Sushila Karki, the Prime Minister of the country’s interim government. She expressed her strong stance on the matter while speaking at a recent event.
Karki said the government is facing constant pressure, criticism and demands for resignation from political parties and the so-called Gen-G youth. However, despite these challenges, the government is handling the situation with patience.
He complained that demands to resign from the government are being raised every day and that whenever a decision is made, one has to face new insults. He also commented that the government is in a ‘swinging’ situation.
The interim prime minister also said that a small number of Gen-G youth are constantly putting pressure on the government with different demands, making it difficult to function normally.
Sushila Karki emphasized that her government will not allow Nepal to go down the path of instability and declared in clear language that Nepal will in no way become Bangladesh.
