The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of LPG at the consumer level for the month of January. The new price has been increased by Tk 53 per 12 kg cylinder to Tk 1,306.
BERC announced the price on Sunday (January 4), which will be effective from this evening.
In addition, the price of autogas has also been increased. The new price has been increased by 2 taka 48 paisa per liter to 59 taka 80 paisa.
It is worth noting that last December, the price of a 12-kg cylinder of LP gas was increased by Tk 38 to Tk 1,253, and the price of autogas was set at Tk 57.32.
