BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman said that Osman Hadi, a member of the brave generation of the 2024 movement, has been killed and he was martyred in the struggle to establish democratic rights. In his words, Osman Hadi wanted the people of the country to regain their democratic and economic rights.
Speaking at a public reception organized on 300 Feet Road in Purbachal, the capital, on Thursday (December 25) afternoon, he said that in order to repay the blood debt of the martyrs of the 2024 movement, as well as the martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War and the victims of disappearances and murders under the previous dictatorial regime, a just and democratic Bangladesh must be built.
Tarique Rahman said that currently, the conspiracies of various hegemonic forces are continuing, which requires patience and restraint to confront. He especially called on the young generation, saying that they will have to take the responsibility of running the country in the future. Now is the time for the youth to take the responsibility of building the country on a strong democratic and economic foundation.
