Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed paid a courtesy call on President Md. Shahabuddin. The meeting was held at Bangabhaban on Thursday (December 18) afternoon.
A message from the Supreme Court administration said that during the meeting, the President praised the initiatives taken by the Chief Justice for the institutionalization of the judiciary. Particularly mentioning his role in establishing a separate Supreme Court Secretariat, the President said that these initiatives will provide guidance for establishing good governance and justice in the future.
The President wished the Chief Justice good health and long life in his post-retirement life. The Chief Justice expressed gratitude for the President’s cooperation in implementing the reform measures of the judiciary.
