BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is under close observation at the CCU of Evercare Hospital in the capital. She is undergoing treatment under the supervision of local and foreign specialist doctors, BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed on Thursday.
He was rushed to the hospital on Sunday night after he suddenly developed breathing difficulties. A medical team led by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder is monitoring his condition.
Party sources said Tarique Rahman and his wife Zubaida Rahman are regularly checking on Khaleda Zia’s treatment from London. Syeda Shamila Rahman, wife of the late Arafat Rahman Koko, is by her side in the hospital.
