A bus caught fire in Dholaipar, Dhaka, on Wednesday at 6:38 PM. Upon receiving the news, a unit of the Fire Service quickly arrived at the scene and started controlling the fire.
Rosina Akter, duty officer at the Fire Service control room, said that the cause of the fire is still unknown. However, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
In recent days, there have been incidents of petrol bomb attacks and buses being set on fire in various areas of the capital. This incident in Dholaipar appears to be part of that ongoing pattern.
