A driver named Julhas Mia (35) was burned to death after miscreants set fire to a bus of Alam Asia Paribahan in Fulbaria, Mymensingh. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Monday (November 10) in the Bhalukjan area of the upazila. The deceased was the son of Saju Mia from Kaiyarchala village.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fulbaria Police Station, Roknuzzaman, said unidentified miscreants set fire to the bus late at night, completely burning it down. The driver, who was inside the vehicle at the time, was trapped and died on the spot from severe burns.
Police have recovered the body and launched an operation to arrest those involved in the incident.
