Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Caretaker Government, has stated that through the collective efforts of the youth, Bangladesh will stand tall in the world as a developed, humane, and innovative nation.
He made the remarks on Monday (September 15) at the Chief Adviser’s office in Tejgaon during the ‘Youth Volunteer Award’ ceremony, where 12 young individuals were honored for their contributions in various fields. The awardees received a cash prize of 100,000 Taka or prize bonds, a commemorative crest, and a certificate.
Dr. Yunus emphasized that when the youth are energetic and innovative, no obstacle can stop the country’s progress. He noted that young people play a crucial role not only in education but also in healthcare, environmental protection, poverty alleviation, and social justice.
He further stated that volunteer service is not only for humanitarian welfare but also an important means for self-development, character building, and leadership enhancement. The small efforts of youth can have a huge impact on thousands of lives and the nation’s progress.
Finally, he urged the youth to actively contribute to society and the nation’s development by utilizing their talent, innovative power, and leadership skills.
