BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will return to the country within the next few weeks and lead the party ahead of the national election, said Standing Committee member Dr. A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain.
He disclosed this on Saturday at the national conference of Pubali Bank Employees’ Association held in Motijheel, Dhaka.
Dr. Zahid Hossain said, “Tarique Rahman will return and directly lead the party from within the country. Those conspiring over the election will not succeed. The national election will be held in February.”
He further alleged that the Awami League is once again trying to come to power through the back door and urged everyone to stay alert to resist ongoing conspiracies to snatch away people’s rights.
