5 more children die with measles symptoms; total death toll reaches 955

  • The number of measles and measles in the country has increased. Five new deaths have been reported in the last twenty-four hours. At the same time, more than a thousand people were infected with the symptoms of measles and measles.

    According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), three children have died in Dhaka division and two more in Sylhet division due to measles in the last 24 hours. However, no new deaths have been reported from the case.

    A total of 955 people died of measles and measles in the country from March 15 to August 27. Of these, 856 people have been diagnosed with measles and 79 have died of measles.

    One thousand new cases in one day

    Seventy-five new measles have been reported in the last 24 hours. In addition, 956 people have shown symptoms of measles. As a result, the number of measles and symptoms in one day stood at 1 thousand 31.

    A total of 53 thousand 692 people have been diagnosed with measles in the country since March 15. At the same time, eighteen thousand 726 people were identified.

    More than one million hospitalized

    According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 1 lakh 34 thousand 437 people have been hospitalized across the country with symptoms of measles and measles from March 15 to Thursday.

    Of these, 29 thousand 489 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. As a result, a large number of patients have recovered and returned home, but new cases of measles and measles are continuing to be identified and deaths due to the symptoms of measles and measles.
