A six-member delegation of students has entered the secretariat with a six-point demand instead of demanding the resignation of the education minister.
On Wednesday (July 15th), they went to the secretariat in front of the education building at 5pm. Police arrested them when they reached the front of the school building at 4pm. Six delegates were later allowed to enter the secretariat for discussion.
The demands raised by the delegation include ensuring that those who want to re-part in the examinations held in disaster situations; to consider the highest number of previous examinations and re-exam results in the case of the students participating in the re-exam; providing full marks for the wrong question in the question paper; to hold the re-exam with sufficient time for the mental preparation of the students in the current situation;
Earlier, the students protested demanding the resignation of the education minister, but the minister’s resignation was not included in the list of the demands of the delegation who went to the secretariat to participate in the discussion. As a result, there has been a significant change in the demand of the movement.
