Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) VP Sadiq Qaim has departed from Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir. During his departure, he served as the International Secretary of the organization.
Chhatra Shibir central media secretary Mu’tasim Billah Shahedi confirmed the matter on Monday afternoon.
He said a total of ten responsible people, including Sadiq Qaim, were given farewell as part of the organizational process at the meeting held ahead of the annual programme held on Tuesday.
According to Mu’tamsi Billah Shahedi, it is a regular process of the organization. When the tenure of the student and organizational responsibilities are completed, the responsible persons are officially discharged every six months.
According to the organization, this farewell is not due to any organizational punishment or dispute; rather, it has been completed as part of the transfer of responsibilities according to the prevailing organizational policy of Chhatra Shibir.
