
The March 2026 business review meeting of state-owned Rupali Bank PLC was held, where the bank’s overall operations and future strategies were discussed in detail.
Senior officials from local, divisional and corporate branches participated in the meeting organized at the conference room of the bank’s Training Academy located in Motijheel, Dhaka, on Saturday (April 11).
Managing Director Kazi Md. Wahidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the meeting. He emphasized on continuing the bank’s existing success story and directed to take more effective steps, especially in recovering defaulted loans.
Deputy Managing Director Md. Harunur Rashid and General Manager and Company Secretary Mohammad Shahedur Rahman were present as special guests at the event.
The meeting was presided over by Md. Noman Mia, Principal and General Manager of the Training Academy. General Managers of various offices, Deputy General Manager of Corporate-1 Branch and other concerned officials were present at the time.
Sources related to the bank said that the future action plan has been determined by prioritizing effective debt management, good governance, and customer service quality improvement to address the ongoing financial challenges.
