In particular, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has responded to the question of whether Russia is providing military assistance to Iran.
In an interview, he said that relations between Iran and Russia are based on a long-standing strategic partnership. Military cooperation between the two countries is also part of that relationship and is not a new issue.
In Aragchi’s words, “We have a strategic partnership with Russia. There was military cooperation in the past, there is now, and there will be in the future.”
However, he did not provide specific information on whether Russia was directly helping Iran identify US military targets, saying he did not have detailed information on such military matters.
