The Cabinet Division has issued a gazette allocating offices to 10 advisors appointed as ministers and state ministers in the new government of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman .
The gazette, published in the form of a notification on Tuesday, has come into effect as per the provisions of the Rules of Business, 1996.
According to the gazette, Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed , Nazrul Islam Khan and ** Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed ** have been given the responsibility of ‘political advisor’ with the rank of minister . Md. Ismail Zabiullah with the same rank has been given the Ministry of Public Administration and Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
** Humayun Kabir ** has been given the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Disaster Management and Relief and Civil Aviation and Tourism; ** Shamsul Islam ** has been given the Ministry of Defense; ** Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman ** has been given the Ministry of Policy and Strategy; ** Mahdi Amin ** has been given the Ministry of Education, Primary and Mass Education, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and Labor and Employment. Rehan Asif Asad has been given the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology.
