BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman is leaving for Sylhet on Wednesday night as part of the official start of his election campaign. He will visit the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) upon arriving in Sylhet by air from Dhaka.
Tarique Rahman will start his campaign by attending a program at Sylhet Alia Madrasa ground on Thursday morning. He is then scheduled to participate in a series of rallies and public meetings in Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Brahmanbaria, Kishoreganj, Narsingdi and Narayanganj.
Party sources said that the official election campaign of BNP across the country will begin with the Sylhet visit.
