Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman is going to the BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office to express his condolences to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and his bereaved family.
Jamaat’s publicity department said that he will visit the Gulshan office at 7 pm on Thursday (January 1) to express his condolences and condolences to Tarique Rahman and his family members.
Earlier, on behalf of Jamaat, Syed Abdullah Md. Taher and Maulana Abdul Halim, along with several leaders, went there to express their condolences.
It is noteworthy that BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia passed away while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital on Tuesday (December 30) morning. The next day, Wednesday, after the funeral prayer at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, she was buried with full state honors next to the grave of her husband, martyred President Ziaur Rahman, at Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
