The Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s grand rally scheduled for January 3 has been postponed, keeping in mind the interests of admission candidates.
In a statement on Sunday, the party’s Secretary General and former MP Mia Golam Parwar said that the admission test for the first year of the undergraduate program for the 2025-26 academic year will be held in nine agricultural and agricultural-focused universities of the country on that day. Therefore, the decision has been taken to postpone the previously announced program.
Earlier, Jamaat-e-Islami had announced a mass rally in the capital on January 3 demanding justice for the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi and the recovery of illegal weapons nationwide.
