The investigation into the murder of Inqilab Manch spokesperson Shahid Sharif Osman Hadi is almost at its final stage and the names of those involved in the incident will be released soon, said Home Affairs Advisor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting of the core committee on law and order at the secretariat on Sunday, he said that significant progress has been made in the investigation of the case, but details cannot be disclosed now for the sake of the investigation. He assured that a chargesheet for the murder will be filed within the next 10 days and justice will be ensured during the tenure of the interim government.
The Home Affairs Advisor also said that the attempts to rehabilitate fascist sympathizers in the political arena are worrisome. He called on political parties to refrain from such activities.
Meanwhile, the Home Affairs Advisor also announced after the meeting that the main accused in the murder of an NCP labor leader has been arrested.
