BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has arrived at London’s Heathrow Airport on his way back home after ending his long exile. He is accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman and daughter Jaima Rahman.
They arrived at Heathrow Airport around 10:30 pm Bangladesh time on Wednesday. At that time, leaders and activists of the UK BNP were present and went to the security cordon to see them off.
After checking in, Tarique Rahman and his entourage passed through the fast-track security system and entered. A UK BNP leader said that about 50 leaders and activists are going to Bangladesh on the same flight.
Tarique Rahman is scheduled to travel to Dhaka on a regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The flight is scheduled to depart from London at 12:15 am Bangladesh time. It is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka via Sylhet at 11:20 am on Thursday.
