Dhaka—BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s party has released its three-day programme. The party’s standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed announced this information at a press conference at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan on Wednesday (December 24).
The party announcement said that Tarique Rahman will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on a regular flight of Bangladesh Biman at 11:50 am on Thursday. He will be welcomed by members of the BNP Standing Committee at the airport. From there, he will go directly to Evercare Hospital and meet party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
According to the program, after Friday prayers, he will pay homage at the shrine of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and lay a wreath at the Savar National Memorial.
After completing the activities related to the national identity card at the Election Commission on Saturday, he will visit the grave of martyr Osman Hadi. Later in the day, he is scheduled to visit Pangu Hospital to check on the injured in the July mass uprising.
