BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia’s physical condition remains stable, said her personal physician and party standing committee member Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
Speaking to reporters outside Evercare Hospital in the capital on Thursday afternoon, he said he was receiving treatment from doctors and his overall condition remained unchanged. He also said doctors were optimistic about his gradual improvement.
Dr. Zahid requested the countrymen to pray for Khaleda Zia’s speedy recovery.
Khaleda Zia, who has been suffering from various complications for a long time, was admitted to Evercare Hospital on November 23 with breathing problems. She has been under close observation there since then.
