On the occasion of the great Victory Day, Chief Advisor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The military capacity and discipline were displayed around the 54th anniversary of independence on Tuesday morning.
Fly past, parajump and special aerobetic exhibitions were held under the supervision of the armed forces. On the same day, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority chairman Chowdhury Ashiqur Rahman and 53 members of the armed forces — a total of 54 paratroopers landed with free fruit jumps with the national flag. If successful, it will be a new record for the highest participation.
Apart from the integrated band performance, a limited number of band shows were held in different cantonment areas of the country, including Dhaka. The Air Force operates fly pasts in several areas including Khulna, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar.
Chief justice, advisory council members, foreign diplomats and heads of the armed forces were present on the occasion. On the occasion of Victory Day, ships and military museums of the Navy are also kept open to the public at a certain time.
