The schedule for the 13th National Parliament election is imminent and will be announced on Wednesday evening or the following Thursday, Election Commissioner Abdur Rahmanel Machud said.
Speaking to reporters at the Election Building on Tuesday, he said that all preparations, including the speech to announce the schedule, have already been finalized. The Election Commission will meet the President on Wednesday afternoon, and the schedule can be announced any time after that meeting.
Commissioner Machud said that special importance will be given to the cooperation of political parties in announcing the schedule. He also said that the symbols of political parties that are banned or suspended in postal ballots will not be included in the final ballot.
