The verdict in the RAJUK plot allocation corruption case involving former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, and niece Tulip Siddiq, along with 17 others, will be announced on December 1.
On Tuesday, after hearing the arguments in Dhaka’s Fourth Special Judge Court, Judge Robiul Alam set the date for the verdict. Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) lawyer Moinul Hasan confirmed the information to the media.
According to ACC officials, Sheikh Rehana is the principal accused. The case also names former Prime Minister Hasina, convicted for crimes against humanity, and Tulip Siddiq among the 17 defendants. The case was filed by ACC Deputy Director Md. Salahuddin.
