A total of 127,695,183 citizens will be eligible to vote in the 13th National Parliamentary Election. According to the draft voter list, the number was previously 127,612,384.
On Tuesday (18 November), Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed shared the updated figures with journalists in front of his office at the Election Building in Agargaon.
The secretary said that the list includes those who turned 18 by October 31. The final voter list now stands at 127,695,183 voters.
According to the updated list:
Male voters: 64,814,907
Female voters: 62,879,042
Third-gender voters: 1,234
The growth rate of male voters is 2.29%, while female voter growth stands at 4.16%.
Earlier, on November 3, the Election Commission published the updated draft voter list. According to that list, male voters totaled 64,760,382, female voters numbered 62,850,772, and 1,230 individuals were registered as third-gender voters.
The newly published final list includes those who will turn 18 by October 31, 2025, making them eligible to vote in the upcoming national election for the first time.
