The private scholarship project ‘Shaheed Scholarship Examination-2025’ organized by Heaven Touch Organization, one of the largest organizations in Gazipur, has been held to test the merit of children and encourage them to compete.
The exam was held on Saturday (November 15) with great enthusiasm at the Shaheed Cadet Academy Gazipur branch, which is operated directly from Tangail, on Kazi Azimuddin College Road in the South Chhayabithi area of Gazipur city, and a total of 5 centers including the Summerdale Elementary School building.
Fifteen hundred students from 160 educational institutions in Gazipur metropolis participated in it. The exams were conducted in two shifts from play to fifth grade.
Kaliganj Upazila Cooperative Officer Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, Sreepur Upazila Assistant Education Officer Md. Azharul Islam, Editor and Publisher of Dainik Banglabhumi Newspaper Md. Nazrul Islam Azhar, Acting Editor of Weekly Kandhar Rubel Sarkar, Chairman of Bhasa Shaheed College Md. Shahidul Islam, Lecturer of Gazipur Residential Model School and College Md. Rabiul Islam, Administrator of UCMAS Abacus Academy Shamima Akhter (Lucky) and others inspected the examination activities.
Parents and students said that the exams were held in a fair and orderly environment. They were satisfied with the exam question paper and overall management.
The guardians also said that since there is no government scholarship exam, this private scholarship exam is one of the means of assessing the merit of the students. This removes the fear of exams in the students and creates a competitive spirit. Let these private scholarships continue.
Journalist Muhammad Atiqur Rahman went to the spot and saw that the exams were being held in a joyful and festive atmosphere. Parents were crowding outside. They were happy with such arrangements.
Center Secretary Sakhinazaman Barna said that 61 room inspectors and 16 volunteers were responsible for the scholarship exam. The exam was completed smoothly.
Shaheed Cadet School and College founder and chairman Md. Shahidul Islam said that they have been organizing the scholarship exam since 2011. This time, students from various districts including Chandpur, Munshiganj, Narayanganj, Narsingdi participated in the exam by applying online and offline. The results of this exam will be announced in the last week of December this year.
