The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the Final results of the 44th BCS examination. The results were released on Thursday (November 6) night on the PSC website.
According to a PSC notice, among the candidates who were initially nominated for cadre posts in the previously published results, 303 candidates had already been serving in different cadre positions from earlier BCS recruitments. They submitted written declarations stating that they did not wish to join the same cadre or any lower-ranked cadre based on their preference order. As per the revised recruitment rules, PSC has refrained from recommending the appointment of 260 such candidates.
Additionally, 43 candidates have now been nominated for higher-ranked cadre positions according to their preference lists. To fill the resulting vacancies, another 257 candidates have been selected and nominated from the merit list.
Through this process, the previous cadre nominations of 113 candidates have been revised, and they have now been nominated for higher preference cadre posts.
