A five-year-old child named Orchid Rajbangshi died after falling from the rooftop of a six-story building in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh area. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Tuesday (October 28).
He was rescued in critical condition and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at around 3:15 p.m. after examination.
Orchid was the son of Rana Rajbangshi from Bhagalpur Lane in Hazaribagh. According to family members, the child had gone to visit his aunt’s house in a nearby building. His aunt lived on the sixth floor of that building, from whose rooftop Orchid tragically fell to his death.
