Saudi Arabia has announced that all types of visa holders will be allowed to perform Umrah. On Sunday, the country’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed this in a statement.
According to media reports, individuals holding personal or family visit visas, electronic tourist visas, work visas, or any other type of visa will be able to perform Umrah while staying in the country.
The ministry stated that this step has been taken to enable Muslims to perform their religious rituals comfortably and peacefully. Notably, in July, the Saudi Federal Cabinet officially approved the Hajj Policy 2026, which outlines the main procedural, financial, and logistical arrangements for the Hajj season.
