Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
A photo released by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing shows President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump with Dr. Yunus and his daughter, Dina Yunus. The photo was taken on September 23 at a reception dinner hosted by Trump at the Lotte New York Palace.
The dinner was organized in honor of world leaders attending the UN General Assembly. During the event, Dr. Yunus extended an invitation to President Trump to visit Bangladesh at a convenient time.
According to the Press Wing, President Trump and the First Lady posed for a photograph with Dr. Yunus and his daughter during the reception.
