Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus will sit for successive meetings today (Sunday) with BNP, Jamaat, and NCP to discuss the upcoming 13th National Election and the current political situation.
Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the meetings have been scheduled for 3:00 PM with BNP, 4:30 PM with Jamaat, and 6:00 PM with NCP. The decision was finalized at a preparatory meeting held in Jamuna on Saturday.
The interim government has already made it clear that the national election will be held in the first half of February 2026. No conspiracy, obstacle, or evil force will be allowed to derail this democratic journey.
According to the Chief Adviser’s office: “The will of the people will prevail. There is a conducive environment for the election, and the law-and-order situation remains under control. The polls will be held on schedule.”
