Indian music legend Asha Bhosle is no more. She breathed her last on Sunday (April 12) while undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She was 92 years old at the time of her death.
The family has informed that his last rites will be performed in Mumbai tomorrow, Monday (April 13).
His son Anand Bhosle told the media that the last rites will be held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Monday at 4 pm.
Earlier, doctors said that his physical condition suddenly deteriorated on Saturday (April 11) and he was admitted to the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Asha Bhosle, who has been active in the music industry for over eight decades, has sung over a thousand songs in Hindi, Bengali and various languages. She has shown equal proficiency in all genres, from classical music, folk music, ghazals to modern film music.
His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the Indian music world.
