Members of the opposition have been walking again since the ongoing session of the National Assembly. At 5pm on Thursday, the leader of the opposition, Dr. They left the session under the leadership of Shafiqur Rahman.
Before the announcement of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that despite the opposition’s objections, several bills have been passed, which he said was “anti-people”. He refused to take responsibility for the bill and decided to leave the parliament. Later, members of the opposition alliance left the session room with him.
After the walkout, the deputy speaker gave the opportunity to speak to Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed. He said members of the opposition party took part in various phases of the legislative process and expressed support in some cases. At the end of the process, he questioned the rationale of the walkout.
The Home Minister expressed the hope that the members of the opposition would return to the session after the break.
