Saudi Aramco warns the world about oil supply

International Desk »

  • The CEO of Saudi Aramco has warned that if the ongoing tensions in the Middle East continue for too long, it could have a serious impact on global energy markets.

He said the longer regional instability persists, the greater the negative impact on global oil supply and prices.

According to him, the Middle East is a key hub in the global energy supply system, so any conflict or security risk in the region is quickly reflected in the international market.

The military tension surrounding Iran, which began on February 25, continues. The situation became more complicated after the attacks by the United States and Israel. Many people have lost their lives in the conflict and Iran’s supreme religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also been killed, according to various international reports. Both sides have not yet abandoned their position of continuing the conflict.

Meanwhile, Saudi authorities said a drone was shot down by air defense systems east of the country’s Al-Kharj Governorate.

The Saudi Civil Defense also reported that a drone crashed in a residential area in Al-Zulfi Governorate, causing some damage to property but no major casualties.

According to analysts, if the security situation in the Middle East deteriorates further, it could have a significant impact on global energy supplies, transportation routes, and the stability of international markets.
