The flights canceled on Thursday included four to Qatar, four to Kuwait and four flights by Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways . There were also 10 flights by UAE-based Air Arabia , four by Emirates , two by US-Bangla Airlines , two by Bahrain-based Gulf Air and four by Flydubai .
According to the aviation authority, after the security situation in the Middle East deteriorated on February 28,
Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan.
They temporarily closed their airspace, which directly affected international flight operations.
According to Bebichak, 23 flights were canceled on February 28, 40 on March 1, 46 on March 2, 39 on March 3, and 28 on March 4. The total number has reached 210, including 34 cancellations on Thursday.
Authorities say this uncertainty in international flight schedules may continue until the regional situation normalizes.
