Members of parliament of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), which won the 13th national parliamentary election, took oath on Tuesday morning.
Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin administered the oath at the event held at the oath-taking room of the National Parliament Building .
Tight security arrangements were made in and around the parliament building for the ceremony. As per parliamentary custom, the oath of office of the BNP members, as the majority party, was administered first.
