Government offices will operate on a reduced schedule during the holy month of Ramadan. The government said on Thursday that offices will remain open from 9 am to 3:30 pm, five days a week, except for weekends.
At a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital, Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said that during this period, there will be a 15-minute break for Zuhr prayers from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm.
However, it has been informed that banks, insurance companies, the Supreme Court and other autonomous bodies will set separate schedules according to their own needs.
