Bruce Leung, China’s renowned martial arts actor and action director, has died in Hong Kong on January 14 at the age of 77. The cause of his death was not immediately known, Singapore-based media reported, citing family sources.
His funeral will be held in Shenzhen, China, on January 26. Many in the film industry, including fellow actor and world-famous actor Jackie Chan, have expressed their condolences over Bruce Leung’s death.
Born in 1948, Bruce Lee rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s by starring in many popular martial arts films. His work in films including ‘Magnificent Bodyguards’, ‘The Dragon Lives’ and ‘Kung Fu Hustle’ was widely acclaimed by audiences.
