The joint press conference scheduled to make a final announcement on the seat sharing agreement between 11 parties, including Jamaat-e-Islami, in the upcoming national parliamentary elections has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.
The press conference was scheduled to be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday at the Muktijoddha Hall of the Diploma Engineers Institution in the capital.
Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and Coordinator of the 11-party seat compromise alliance, Dr. Hamidur Rahman Azad, confirmed the matter and said that the previously announced press conference has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The new date will be announced later.
