Bangladesh has achieved a Guinness World Record for hoisting the most national flags at once, 54 at a time, through a special parachute jump operation. Guinness authorities have officially confirmed the record, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The ISPR statement said that this exceptional operation was conducted with the participation of skilled skydivers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces in Dhaka on the Great Victory Day on December 16, 2025. ‘Team Bangladesh’ set a world record by flying 54 red and green flags simultaneously in the sky.
The Guinness World Records website states that this initiative was taken to commemorate National Unity and Victory Day. ISPR said that this achievement is not only a world record, but will also be remembered in history as a symbol of the professionalism, discipline and self-confidence of the armed forces and Bangladesh.
