The Election Commission (EC) has released the initial list of valid candidates for the upcoming 13th National Parliament election after scrutinizing the nomination papers.
According to the EC, after verification of the nomination papers submitted for 300 constituencies in the country, a total of 1,842 candidates’ nomination papers have been declared valid.
The EC released the list on Sunday (January 4). The commission said that 3,406 nomination papers were submitted in this election, which were submitted by 2,568 candidates. After scrutiny, a certain number of candidates have been identified as valid among these nomination papers.
