National Citizens Party (NCP) Central Joint Chief Coordinator Khan Muhammad Mursalin has resigned from the party post. He himself confirmed the matter on Thursday (January 1) afternoon.
Announcing his resignation, Mursaleen said that even though he has left the NCP, he is not withdrawing from politics and will remain active on the streets in the future. In a post on social media, he said that in addition to serving as the NCP’s central joint chief coordinator, he has also worked in the party’s media cell and publicity and publication cell.
He also said that he was recently serving as the secretary of the election-time media subcommittee. He has decided to step down from all responsibilities and positions of the Jatiya Nagorik Party from Thursday.
