Nurul Islam Saddam gave his first speech after taking charge as the central president of the 2026 session of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir. In a short message posted on his verified Facebook page on Friday night, he recalled the burden of responsibility and the sacrifice of the martyrs.
Saddam wrote in the post, “O Lord Karim, make it easy for us to fulfill the great responsibility of this beloved caravan left behind by the martyrs.”
The organization’s outgoing president, Zahidul Islam, commented on it with greetings.
Earlier, Nurul Islam Saddam was elected president and Sibgatullah Sibga was elected secretary general at a members’ conference held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Agargaon in the capital.
A resident of Sonadanga, Khulna, Saddam completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Khulna University. He is currently studying for a professional master’s degree in human resource management at Dhaka University. Before taking over as president, he served as the secretary general of Chhatra Shibir at various central and city levels of the organization.
Those concerned believe that through this announcement of new leadership, the organization has given a message of direction and continuity for the future.
