Bollywood’s legendary “Hi-Man,” Dharmendra, passed away at the age of 89. Over a career spanning six decades, he won the hearts of millions with countless hit films and achieved equal success in business and investments.
Dharmendra entered Bollywood in 1960 with Dil Vii Tera, Hum Vii Tere, earning a modest 51 rupees for his first film. He went on to become a legend through blockbuster hits such as Sholay, Pratigya, Seeta Aur Geeta, and Dharam Veer.
Beyond acting, Dharmendra excelled in business. He owned a luxurious 100-acre farmhouse in Lonavala, Mumbai, featuring a swimming pool, therapy area, gardens, and other modern amenities. He also held multiple properties in Mumbai and Maharashtra, valued at approximately 17 crore rupees.
He was active in the restaurant business, owning “Garam Dharam Dhaba” and “Hi-Man Restaurant” on Karnal Highway. In 1983, he founded his production company, Vijeta Films, producing numerous films. He also earned significantly from advertisements, brand endorsements, and commercial shoots.
Through acting, business, and investments, Dharmendra has left his family with immense wealth and a lasting legacy.
