Two bulldozers were brought to Dhanmondi 32 on Monday afternoon. Around 12 p.m., the machines arrived on trucks, while a few individuals standing atop the bulldozers were seen chanting slogans.
This is not the first such incident. On February 5 of this year, around 11 p.m., a bulldozer suddenly appeared and demolished the house at Number 32. An excavator had also been brought in that night.
Earlier still, on August 5 of last year, following the fall of the Awami League government, student protesters set fire to the historic residence at 32, leaving behind charred ruins.
