The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a series of programs to observe the historic November 7 National Revolution and Solidarity Day. The details were provided in a press release signed by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Thursday (November 6).
According to the announcement, at 6:00 AM on November 7, the party flag will be hoisted at the BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan and all district offices across the country. At 10:00 AM, central and grassroots leaders will place floral wreaths at the mausoleum of Bir Uttam Shahid President Ziaur Rahman and offer prayers.
At 3:00 PM, a rally will be brought out from Nayapaltan under the initiative of Dhaka North and South BNP. Similar rallies will also be held in all district and upazila headquarters nationwide. Various associate and front organizations will hold separate discussions and other programs in observance of the day.
From November 5 to 13, different BNP wings—including the Labour Wing, Chhatra Dal, Ulema Dal, Tanti Dal, Krishak Dal, and JASAS—will organize seminars, cultural events, exhibitions, and relief activities.
In addition, a central discussion meeting will be held on November 12 at 2:00 PM at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center. BNP will also release documentaries (video and photo) across electronic media, print media, Facebook, YouTube, and online platforms, along with posters and special supplements.
