A BNP delegation met with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A. M. M. Nasir Uddin on Thursday to discuss matters ahead of the upcoming general election.
The meeting took place at 11:00 a.m. at the Election Commission Secretariat in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
The delegation was led by BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, accompanied by BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member Ismail Zabiullah and former Additional Secretary Dr. Mohammad Zakaria.
Election Commission sources said the discussions may include appointment panels for national election officials and other issues related to the electoral process.
Earlier, on October 21, as part of ongoing political dialogues with the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, a three-member BNP team held a meeting.
That meeting included BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee members Ameer Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.
