The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued six important guidelines to ensure the smooth conduct of next year’s Hajj.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Bangladesh sent a letter to Hajj agencies on Wednesday, October 15, informing them about these instructions. Subject to moon sighting, the holy Hajj is scheduled for May 26 next year. Bangladesh’s Hajj quota for this year is 127,198 pilgrims, and the preliminary registration ends on Thursday, October 16.
The Six Rules for Hajj:

Submission of Hajj Contract Information: Agencies must urgently provide information about the number of pilgrims, travel through Jeddah and Madinah airports, and accommodation details.

No Pilgrim Shifting: Pilgrims cannot be moved from one building to another, nor accommodated outside the Masar system. Violation will result in blacklisting of both the agency and its head.

Prohibition for Blacklisted Agencies: Any agency that was blacklisted last year is not allowed to participate in Hajj operations.

WhatsApp Group for Communication: All Hajj-related information, including number of pilgrims, lead agency, tabulation, financial transactions, and bank account details, must be uploaded promptly via the designated WhatsApp group.

Mandatory Health Certificate: Individuals with any of the nine complex diseases identified by the Saudi Ministry of Health are not permitted to perform Hajj. Pilgrims must present a health certificate to obtain a visa.

Provision of Nusuk Cards: Agencies must provide the hotel’s name, address, room, and bed numbers in advance to ensure Nusuk cards are delivered from the airport to the hotel.
For Hajj 2026, all managing agencies must submit complete hotel details in advance for smooth distribution of Nusuk cards from the airport to pilgrims’ hotels. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has called on the relevant agencies to take necessary measures to implement these guidelines.
